Janie Alice Hill, 69, of Elkhart was born to Betty Jean Jones and Ray Gene Arnett.
Janie was a resident of Anderson County and had been a nurse for 39 years.
She was preceded in death by her father; her son-in-law Brian Thornton and her daughter-in-law Diane Hill.
Janie is survived by her husband of 35 years, Perry Mack Hill; her mother, Betty Arnett; her brother, Tommie Arnett (Janice); her daughter, Darla Thornton; stepdaughter, Michelle Gurney and stepson, Kerry Wayne Hill. She also leaves behind eight grandchildren, C.J., William, Cheyene, Matthew, Ashley, Sadee, Karissa and Sammy; three great grandchildren, Ayden, Auroa and Ayla.
