Cindy Jordan, 56, of Stephenville, passed away Friday, August 17, 2018 in Fort Worth.
Funeral Services will be held at 4:00 pm Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at the Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Werth Mayes officiating. Interment will follow at the West End Cemetery in Stephenville. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Monday at the funeral home.
Cindy was born on November 29, 1961 in Dublin to J.D. and Louvinda Chapman. She was a graduate of Stephenville High School and worked for Tarleton State University in Risk Management for 28 years until her retirement. Cindy was an active member of the Cowboy Church of Erath County and was a previous member and secretary of the Stephenville Church of the Nazarene as well as a Sunday school teacher and a board member. Cindy married Jerry Jordan on October 10, 2009 in Stephenville.
Survivors include her husband, Jerry of Stephenville; son, Shawn Ross Black of Stephenville; children, Samantha Cater and husband Russell of Willis, and James Jorden and wife Amanda of De Leon; grandchildren, Grace, Cassidy, Feliz, and Allie'cin, Corbin, Kylee, Anson, Bodie, Seth, Levi, Jakelyn, and Tristen; her father, J.D. Chapman (Pawpaw) of Stephenville; sister, Louvinda Dunbar and husband Robert of Stephenville; and many nieces, nephews and loving family members.
Cindy was preceded in death by her mother, Louvinda Chapman.
