Timothy Patrick Rose, 76, of Park Falls, passed away on Sunday July 1, 2018 at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn.

He was born on Dec. 2, 1941 in Neenah, the son of Howard and Jeannette (Leverance) Rose.

He spent his early years in Tomahawk, graduating from Tomahawk High School. He attended the University of Wisconsin Marathon in Wausau. He was a graduate of the School of Banking in Madison. He spent his early career with Thorp Finance and then spent 50 years at the First National Bank, twenty of those years as President.

On Oct. 13, 1994 he married Kathleen (Koshak) Rose.

Tim loved woodworking, fishing, hunting, golfing, traveling, snowmobiling and storytelling. He was a member of the Park Falls Chamber of Commerce, the Knights of Columbus, the Lions Club, and various other organizations.

He is survived by: his wife Kathleen of Park Falls; four children with Jean Winker-Koller:
Robert (Santana) Rose of Spokane, WA, Bridget (Josef) Jeske of Fifield, Michael Rose of Park Falls (Kerry) Rose of De Pere; seven grandchildren: Alexandria, Zachary, Miranda, Jesse, Benjamin, Elizabeth, and Madeline; five great-grandchildren: Emery, Aubree, Amberly, Andrew, and Elliot. Two sisters: Mary Rose of Bend, OR., Patricia Poshtar of Tomahawk; One brother: Jonathon (Leah) Rose of Stevens Point; One brother-in-law Tom Reich of Deer Park, WA., and nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Jean Kathleen Reich and brother-in-law Bill Poshtar.

The doctors and staff at the Mayo Clinic provided excellent care and compassion for the last five years.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday July 7, 2018 at 11 a.m. from St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Park Falls. Fr. Shaji Pazhukkathara will officiate.

A visitation will be held on Saturday at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the hour of the service.
