Susan Rhoades, 65, of Lake Stevens, Washington, a loving wife, mother and a proud grandmother passed away on June 19, 2015 of complications of pneumonia.

She was born on June 27, 1949 in Seattle, Washington to Jack and Gladys Stuyts. She is survived by her husband, Ron of 48 years; daughter, Rhonda Gaudette (Ron), son, Mark Rhoades; and grandchildren: Erik (Shawna) and Chad Paulson, and Carson Gaudette; and one great-grandchild Cole Paulson. She also leaves her adopted daughter, Marché Eisen(Scott); grandchildren: Daniel, Michael, and Christopher, all of whom she loved dearly.

Sue lived her entire life in Washington except for two years at Camp Pendelton, Calif. while her husband served in the USMC. She enjoyed working at Camp Fire for 16 years and made many good friends.

She enjoyed traveling to Disneyland, Disneyworld, Vegas, and Branson, Missouri. She especially enjoyed visiting her favorite cousin Violet Fesler and her husband Virgil in North Dakota.

Sue flew to West Germany in 1988 to attend the birth of her grandson. She was a devoted, caring, and loving grandmother to all her grandsons.

Per Sue's request no services will be held. A small family gathering will take place at a later date. Happy Birthday Mom! We love and miss you!
