Burial was in the Bear Creek Cemetery at rural Earlham.
She was born in Earlham on February 17, 1895 and was the daughter of George and Sarah Nicholson Standing. She taught school at Ottumwa High School for over 35 years and was a member of the Earlham Friends Church.
She is survived by one niece, Jean Biere of Muscatine.
