He was the son of the late William and Locie Mae(Page)Hammer and the husband of Nita(Rowland)Hammer,who survives.They were married March 5,1953. Surviving are two sons,Rondal Truman Hammer,Summer Shade, and Donald Eugene Hammer,Hestand;five daughters-Carolyn Louise Page,Rita Faye Grider and Teena Gaye Crowe, all of Summer Shade;Marilyn Kaye Shaw,Glasgow; and Pamela Ann Cleary,Tompkinsville.He is also survived by 7 brothers and one sister.
