Joyce H. Fletcher, 90, of Westlake, passed away on Wednesday, May 16, 2018. She was born to her late parents, William and Mary Gloria Hetzel, on April 2, 1928, in Jennings, La. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Sulphur for 60 years, where she spent many years volunteering in any way that she could. When she was able, Joyce was a caretaker in her neighborhood.
She is survived by her three sons, Tommy Fletcher and wife Jean of Westlake, Byron Fletcher and wife Debbie of Topsy, Stuart Fletcher and wife Kim of Moss Bluff; one brother, William Hetzel Jr. and wife Betty of Hathaway; along with six grandchildren, Keith Young, Derek Young, Josh Fletcher, Kaylen Peters and husband Joey, Kensie Fletcher and Colt Fletcher.
Joyce was preceded in death by her loving husband, Thomas J. Fletcher Sr.; her parents; and three sisters.
A memorial service will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church in Sulphur, La., on Thursday, May 24, 2018, at 2 p.m. Visitation will be at the church on Thursday from noon until the time of the service.
