Ruby Louise Elizabeth Pierce, 84, formerly of 202 Nesbitt Street, Gaffney, S.C. went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at Mary Black Health System-Gaffney.

Born in Gaffney, she was the daughter of the late Bridge Pierce and Corrie Bright Pierce.

She loved cooking, shopping, dancing, Gospel and Country music and loved listing to the radio, especially John Boy and Billy and Swap and Shop. She loved her family especially her grandchildren and was a member of Open Door Baptist Church.

Surviving are a son, Jeffery Pierce of Greenville, S.C.; a daughter, Jennifer Driggers of Gaffney; two grandchildren, Olivia McBee and Emma Lou Crawford; a great-grandson, Ethan Mullinax.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Elbert Pierce and two sisters, Mildred P. Humphries and Bertha Taylor.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at Blakely Funeral Home. Memorial service will immediately follow at 1:00 p.m. in the Blakely Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lewis Batchelor officiating.

The family will be at their respective homes.
