Jane Snow, age 81, passed away on Wednesday, August 22, 2018, at Grace Care Center in Olney. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 25, 2018, in the Chapel of Lunn Funeral Home, with Andy Graham, pastor of Southside Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will follow in Reynolds Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, August 24, 2018 at Lunn Funeral Home. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home in Olney.
Jane was born on May 19, 1937 in Blanchard, Oklahoma to the late Oscar Goodman and Mary Alice (Morris) Goodman. She was a vocational supervisor of Denton State School for over sixteen years. She lived in Valley View for twenty-five years and moved to Olney in 2016 to be closer to her family. Jane was a member of Southside Baptist Church and she had a passion for her cats. She married Dexter Ray Snow on November 26, 1955 in Borger, Texas. He preceded her in death on March 28, 2007. She was also preceded in death by a grandson, Billy Joe Snow and a daughter-in-law, Christine Snow.
Jane is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Peggy and Charles Ralls of Jermyn, Texas; one son, John Snow of Wichita Falls, Texas; three sisters: Phyllis Lemmons and husband Jim of Drumright, Oklahoma, Margaret Blackwell and husband Eddie of Denton, Texas, Helen Nash of Fort Worth, Texas; six grandchildren: Tanya Strider and Nick Ragan of Graham, Texas, Cristina Kee and Joe Little of Newcastle, Texas, Christopher Snow of California, Johnny Ray Snow, Jr. of Ben Wheeler, Texas, Kayla Snow of Terre Haute, Indiana and Karma Snow of Terre Haute, Indiana; and six great grandchildren: Kalysta Mosley and husband Kameron of Graham, Texas, Kaleb Kee of Newcastle, Texas, Joseph Kee of Newcastle, Texas, Jeffery Kee of Newcastle, Texas, Trever Shults of Jermyn, Texas and Karley Shults of Jermyn, Texas.
