COTTONDALE - Bobby Wade Andrews, age 53, of Cottondale, Ala., passed away suddenly on March 20, 2018. Services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 27, 2018, at Tuscaloosa Memorial Chapel Funeral Home. Reverend Gary Youngblood will be officiating. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, March 26, 2018, at Tuscaloosa Memorial Chapel Funeral Home. Burial will follow the funeral at Tuscaloosa Memorial Park.
Bobby is preceded in death by his mother, Katherine Andrews.
He is survived by his loving friend; a daughter; a son; a grandson, all of Brookwood, Ala.; father; two sisters; a brother.
Bobby was born in Tuscaloosa on January 16, 1965. He graduated from Central High School. Bobby worked as a Field Service Technician and Welder at Thompson Tractor for more than 21 years. He enjoyed cars, motorcycles, and spending time with, and playing jokes on, his friends and family. He was a loving son, father, brother, and friend, but he was an adoring granddaddy. Bobby was a very creative, talented, and unique person.
Employees of Thompson Tractor, Employees of Southland Resources, Employees of Crimson Urgent Care, Employees of Billy Andrews Paint and Body Shop, Employees of The Oasis, and T-bone Lewis will serve as honorary pallbearers.
