Graveside services for Beverly Salmons-Tidwell, 66, of Spring, Texas will be 2 p.m., Saturday, September 1, 2018, at the Kilgore City Cemetery. Mrs. Tidwell died Tuesday, August 22, 2018.

Beverly was born June 14, 1952 in Palestine, Texas to Charles Emmett and Doris Salmons. Beverly and her family moved to Kilgore at an early age. She attended Kilgore schools and graduated from Kilgore High School and Kilgore College. She began her career with Texas International Airlines and retired from Continental Airlines. Beverly was an avid Houston Astros fan, enjoyed traveling, reading and spending time with her family, especially her twin grandsons.

She is survived by her husband, John B. Tidwell of Spring; her brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Lyda Salmons of Conroe; her sister and brother-in-law, Martha and Ronny Griffith of White Oak, sister and brother-in -law, Marie and Ronald Farrar of Kilgore and sister Elaine Salmons of Kilgore; her grandsons, Jacob and Tristan Lopez of Spring; son-in-law, Ben Lopez of Spring, Texas; mother-in-law, Jennalee Chambers of Albuquerque; sister-in-law, Carolyn Saxe of Albuquerque; nephews and nieces and their families : David Farrar of Friendswood, Trey Hadaway of Papillion, Nebraska, Felicia Scott of Ann Arbor, Michigan, Lisa Salmons of Conroe and Sheila Griffith of Dallas.

Beverly was preceded by her parents.
