WIFE OF BLANKINCHIP, ERVIN WAYNE

Clara Eunice Hall Blankinchip, 78, entered into the arms of Jesus on Monday, August 20, 2018. She was a faithful wife, mother, grandmother and sister. Eunice married the love of her life, Ervin Wayne Blankinchip on October 11, 1958 and he preceded her in death on May 2, 2018. She enjoyed reading, cooking and spending time with her family, especially her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Eunice retired in 1997 from CSX Railroad and she served 34 years as a secretary and assistant. She was known at work for keeping her floor in order and running smoothly.
Cherishing her memory are her 3 children, Donna (Eddie) Merrell, Lynda (Ben) Branch and Dennis (Tamara) Blankinchip; 3 grandchildren: Steven Merrell, Holly Byrd and Hannah Blankinchip; 5 great grandchildren: Brayden, Tracin, Wiley, Peyton and Parker and a host of friends.
A celebration of life service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at Trinity Baptist Church, 800 Hammond Blvd. with Dr. Tom Messer, officiating. Additional service and burial will follow at 2:30 PM on Tuesday at Jacksonville National Cemetery. Please utilize procession lane # 2. Her family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the church on Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the Trinity Baptist Church Mission or Community Hospice of N.E. Florida. Peeples Family Funeral Homes is serving the Blankinchip Family.
