He was born January 24, 1929, in Huntington, to Florence Nathanial Coleman and Robert William Walker.
Charlie was a United States Navy veteran and he retired after forty years with the Southern Pacific Railroad.
Survivors include his children, Thomas Walker and his wife, Debbie, Kathy Jackson, Ronnie Walker and his wife, Rhonda and Chuck Walker and his wife, Patty; sister, Eunice Quarles; brother, Frank Walker; thirteen grandchildren and twenty-three great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Natalie Danna-Walker.
