Patrick was born December 16, 1926 in Sandpoint, Idaho, son of the late Dennis and Delina (Marquis) Lee. Patrick was a graduate of Marshfield High School, Class of 1944. He was a Veteran of the United States Navy serving during World War II and the Korean War, being honorably discharged in 1952. On December 27, 1951 he married the former Charlotte Ritz at St. Francis Xavier Cathedral, Green Bay. She preceded him in death on May 30, 2008. Along with his wife, Patrick was the owner and operator of Lee's Clover Farms Grocery Stores for 15 years and was later employed with Mark-It Place and Rob's Market, Manitowoc, retiring in 2008.
Survivors include five sons and four daughters-in-law: Dennis & Renee Lee, Manitowoc, Brian & Pam Lee, Cedarburg, Tom & Sue Lee, Greendale, Tim & Debra Lee, Marquette, MI., Dale Lee, Manitowoc; two daughters and sons-in-law: Peggy & Jeff LeClair, Appleton, Tina & Kevin Peltier, Manitowoc; 13 grandchildren: Aaron (Laura) Lee, Rebecca (Noah) Eernisse, Rachel (Kory) Weisman, Philip Lee, Hannah Lee, Patrick Lee & his fiancée Theresa Hofschulte, Kristin Lee, Carrissa (Jon) Rondeau, Nathan (Lindsey) Lee, Alexandria (Luke) Van Handel, Adrianna (Kyle) Frelich, Alanna LeClair, Taylor Peltier; 12 great grandchildren; one brother and three sisters-in-law: DuWayne (Jean) Lee, California, Jean Lee, Rhinelander, Evie Ritz, Green Bay; and one sister: Rita Gadbois, Washington. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. He was also preceded in death by two brothers and one sister-in-law: Lloyd Lee, Richard (June) Lee; two sisters and three brothers-in-law: Marie (Sam) Finer, Peggy (Carl) Purpero, Robert Gadbois; and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Charles (Ann) Ritz, Edward (Velma) Ritz, William Ritz, Alvina (Clarence) Woelky, Viola Suski, Annabelle (Clyde) Wiegand, Ellen (James) Karwedsky, Catherine (Robert) Persson, and Elsie Ritz.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 24, 2018 at St. Francis of Assisi on Grand (1416 Grand Avenue) Manitowoc. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Doug LeCaptain. Cremation will follow the service at All-Care Cremation Center, Manitowoc, and Patrick will be laid to rest at Calvary Mausoleum, Manitowoc, at a later date.
