Mr. Dorsey is survived by his wife, Amy Ellerbee Dorsey; his parents, Dixie Gene and Janice Collum Dorsey of Thomaston; his daughter, Laura (Blake) Middlebrooks of The Rock; his son, Andrew (Veronica) Dorsey of Thomaston; his step-daughter, Brittney Screws of Gadsden, AL; his step-son, Christopher Garrod of Leesburg; two sisters, Robin (Dennis) Bryant of Watkinsville and Cassie (Ray) Blount of Thomaston; and eight grandchildren.
