Martha Kivett Dunn, 71, of 210 Allred St., Franklinville, passed away Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro, surrounded by her family.

Funeral Services, 2 PM, Friday, August 24, 2018, at Franklinville United Methodist Church.

Officiating, Rev. Chris West, Rev. Harold Hammond.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Martha was a native of Randolph County, previously employed with Arrow International and Carolina House and attended Franklinville United Methodist Church. Everyone that came in contact with Martha knew her to be kind hearted and having a sweet spirit. She enjoyed baking and growing flowers prior to her declining health and she also loved watching re-runs of The Andy Griffith Show on television. Martha always looked forward to going on family vacations to Kure Beach. She had a special love and dedication for her family and will be missed deeply by them. Martha was preceded in death by her parents, George and Lois Kivett, step-mother, Selma T. Kivett, father-in-law Paul Dunn, brother-in-law Paul Stanley.

Survivors: husband, Jeffrey Paul Dunn of the home, daughter, Lisa Gaines Cox, and husband, Robert, of Ramseur, son, Darren Gaines, of Asheboro, sister, Mary Stanley, of Ramseur, brothers, Rev. Dr. Forbis Kivett, and wife, Raynita, of Archdale, Paul Wesley Kivett, of Greensboro, mother-in-law, Priscilla Dunn, of Franklinville, grandchildren, Christy Nicholson, and husband, Cody, of Franklinville, Wesley Cox, of Franklinville.

Visitation, 6 PM to 8 PM, Thursday, Loflin Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Ramseur and other times at the home of Priscilla Dunn, 192 Allred St., Franklinville.
