ATHENS — Funeral service for Karen Cunningham Becker, 52, of Athens, will be Wednesday, August 22, 2018, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Phillip Hardin officiating. Burial will be in Hartselle Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Becker, who died on Saturday, August 18, 2018, at Athens-Limestone Hospital, was born October 17, 1965, in Shelby County to Glynn Wayne Cunningham and Lynda Gayle Gentry Cunningham. She was employed as a cashier for Kroger. Karen was an excellent role model and friend, who loved her family and was loved by all. She was a 1984 graduate of Hartselle High School. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her husband, Michael Becker; one son, Tyler Crow, Huntsville; two brothers, Mike Cunningham (Pam), Hartselle and Mitch Cunningham (Pamela), Fultondale; one sister, Kim Dumas (John), Englewood, Florida; and a grandchild, Addelyn Crow.
Pallbearers will be Tyler Crow, Larry Becker, Chris Becker, David Becker, Cameron Cunningham and Clayton Proctor.
