Sharon Kay Shaffer Nash, 71, passed away Monday, August 20, 2018 in Rogers after a short battle of brain cancer.
She was born October 17, 1946 in Garfield to Albert and Maggie Byler Shaffer.

She grew up in Northwest Arkansas and married Butch Nash on October 4, 1974, finally making her home in Cave Springs in 1983. Sharon was a homemaker while raising her five children. As her children grew older she went into the workforce at both Scott Paper and Glad manufacturing before finally retiring to enjoy all of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved to read her books and spend time with her family and friends.

Sharon is preceded in death by one granddaughter, Meranda Ballard; one daughter-in-law Laura Bradford; four brothers and a sister.

She is survived by her husband of almost 44 years; four sons, Larry Bradford, Kevin Bradford and wife Theresa, Ted Bradford, and David Nash and wife Brandy; one daughter Tammy Bradford Teal; four sisters; one brother; 15 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren with one more to arrive in November.

A celebration of life will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 1, 2018 at the Refuge Church: 4300 NE Hudson Road, Rogers.
