Heaven gained a new angel on August 19, 2018. Doris Mary Cole, 77, passed away peacefully at BSW Hospital in Round Rock on her own terms.
She was born June 9, 1941 in Chelmsford, Massachusetts to Leonile and Cora (Mailloux) Lessard. She was the youngest of 11 children.
Doris married David, the love of her life, on July 23, 1960 and 17 years later they family moved to Texas.
She loved to travel, watch sports, do stained glass art, entertain guests, and spend time with her grandchildren. Most will remember her quick wit and funny sense of humor.
Doris is survived by her loving husband of over 58 years, David Cole of Tow, Texas; Children: Lisa Danek and husband Richard of Jarrell, Lori Hansen and husband Jay of Corsicana, Lynn Cole and wife Lori Parrish of Cedar Hill, Leanne Holloway and husband Blane of Troy; Grandchildren: Brandon Danek of Jarrell, Christopher Brabandt and wife Elissa of Hurst, Kim Danek and husband Brian of White Settlement, Ryan Brabandt of Austin, Tiffany Cotto of The Village, OK, Marissa Means and husband Eli of Moore, OK, Dillon Holloway of Troy, Hannah Holloway of Abilene, Duncan Holloway of Troy; Great Grandchildren: Elijah and James of Moore, OK; Siblings: Joseph Albert Lessard of Arizona, Rita Allegretti of Oregon, Lucie Leduc of Rindge, NH, Theresa Roberts of Chelmsford, MA, Pauline Craven of Chelmsford, MA and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation with the family will be held at The Gabriels Funeral Chapel, on Saturday, August 25, 2018 between 5 and 7 pm, with the Memorial Service beginning at 7 pm.
