He was born in Upton to Chester and Margriet Alvey. He was a Construction Worker for Eden Fence and a Army Veteran. He was a member of First Baptist Church Sonora.
He was preceded in death by his Parents.
He is survived by his loving Wife, Vickie Alvey of Elizabethtown, KY. four Daughters, Jaime (Shaun) Boling of Sonora, KY, Amy (Jason) Adwell of Cave City, KY, Kristen (Cory) Peterson of Greenwood, IN, Janet Haycraft of Elizabethtown, KY, two Sisters, Sue Morris of Bardstown, KY, Julie (Randy) Sherrard of Sonora, KY, two Brothers, Randy (Dianne) Alvey of Sonora, KY, Roger Alvey of Sonora, KY, seven Grandchildren, Chad Engle, Jared Adwell, Marlana Mefford, Tyler Mefford, Jesse Adwell, Trenton Peterson, and Bennett Peterson.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday August 25, 2018 2:00 pm at Manakee Funeral Home in Sonora, KY With Rev. Ernie Bagley officiating. Burial will be held at the Sonora Cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm or Saturday 9:00 am to 2:00 pm at the Manakee Funeral Home in Sonora.
