Susan Ann Ball, 57, of the 3400 block of Winding Trail Circle went to be with the Lord, Sunday, March 11, 2007 in her home.

Born in Mahanoy City, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of Mary Ann Petock and was predeceased by her brother, George Petock.

Sue will be remembered as a loving wife and mother who gave much of herself to others. She is survived by her loving husband of 31 years, Eugene Ball of Virginia Beach; her children, Joseph Rhodes, Patty Rhodes, Michael Rhodes and Christopher Ball; sisters, Kathy and Tina; her brothers, Larry and Tommy John; grandchildren, Blair and Morgan Rhodes as well as many close friends and extended family.

The funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m., Friday, March 16, 2007 at the Great Bridge Chapel of Oman Funeral Home & Crematory, 653 Cedar Road, Chesapeake. Pastor Woody Wallace will officiate. The interment will follow in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens. The viewing will begin on Thursday with the family receiving friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
