Roy R. Bush, 69, of Greeley, passed away Thursday, Aug. 16, 2018 at Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland. He was born on May 10, 1949 in Greeley to Talbert and Effiee Bush.
Roy was raised in La Salle, graduating from Valley High School. He worked as a heavy equipment operator for Weld County for over 30 years.
On May 10, 1974, Roy married Ellen Johnson. In 1981, they welcomed their beautiful daughter, Amanda.
Roy was a member of Faith Bible Baptist Church in Greeley for over 28 years. He enjoyed fly fishing at Poudre Canyon, shooting at the range, drawing with charcoal, hunting and camping.
Roy is survived by his wife, Ellen; daughter, Amanda Bush (Clayton Plummer); sister, Shirley Brown (Jim); brother, Albert Bush (Carol); brother-in-law, Clyde Johnson (Cindy) and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister-in-law, Anna Johnson.
Visitation will be from 10:00-11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2018 followed by funeral service at 11:30 a.m. both at Stoddard Funeral Home, 3205 West 28th Street, Greeley. Interment Sunset Memorial Gardens.--Stoddard Funeral Home
