Rodney Eugene Farmer, 64, Glasgow, died Thursday, May 3, 2007, at his residence. A native of Tennessee, he was son of the late Adrian and Mary McReynolds Farmer. He was a medical technologist at T.J. Samson Community Hospital, from which he had recently retired after 45 years of service.
Survivors include one son, Tim (T.J.) Farmer and his wife, Kim, of Franklin; two grandsons, Cameron and Conner Farmer; three sisters, Louise King of Mitchellville, Tenn., Katherine Cardwell of Franklin, and Ruth Hettington of Portland, Tenn.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sally Buford Farmer; one daughter, Angela Farmer; one sister, Alice Sullivan; one brother, Richard Farmer.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, May 7, 2007, at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Friends may call after 3 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
