Sherry was born Nov. 6, 1947 in Cassidy, MI to Eugene and Vernita (Bliss) Comment. She graduated from St. Agatha High School in Gagetown, MI and then attended Ferris University for two years.
Sherry married Jerry B. Wetzel. They had one child, Jodi.
Sherry married Wiley Sim Woodard on 15 Feb 1979 in Denton, Texas, USA, and they were married for 23 years before his passing 26 Aug 2002. She worked as a bookkeeper for various companies as an independent contractor.
Sherry loved spending time with family and friends. She was devoted to her evening prayer time and was a member of the Montague County Cowboy Church in Montague, Texas.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Vernita Comment; and her husband, Wiley Woodard. Sherry is survived by her children, Jodi Perini and husband Steve, Fayetville, GA, stepson Robert Woodard, Bowie and stepdaughter Susan Anderson of Flowermound; three grandchildren, Haley Perini, Hayden Perini and Lanie Perini all of Fayetville; 3 step grandchildren Shelby, Blake and Jared and 1 step great grandchild, brother, John Comment and wife Sherry, Essexville, MI; and sister, Patricia Arvoy and husband John, Owosso, MI.
