Virginia M. Shelley-Ciechon, 81, of Hooksett, NH, died August 19, 2018, after a brief illness.
Born in Wellesley, MA on May 23, 1937, she was the daughter of Steven and Mary (Richards) Rogers. She resided in Hanover, MA, for most of her life before moving to Hooksett in 2004.
Virginia spent her life as a dedicated and loving homemaker. In her later years, she was employed with Moore Center Services.
She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, where she served as Grand Marshall as well as Grand Ruth.
Virginia was predeceased by her first husband of thirty-seven years, Richard F. Shelley, Jr. He died October 19, 2000. She was also predeceased by her son, William Schebergen; and an infant daughter, Sandra Shelley.
Virginia enjoyed traveling, antiquing, and spending summers at Lake Winnipesaukee. She loved the ocean and collecting seashells. She was an excellent cook. Virginia will be remembered for her kind and selfless ways. She gave herself wholeheartedly to her husband, children, and grandchildren. Her family was a source of great joy to her and she was especially fond of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Family members include her husband of eight years, Richard Ciechon; a daughter, Cynthia Marschhausen and her husband, Ralph, of Manchester; two sons, Robert Schebergen and Christopher Schebergen both of Waltham, MA; two grandchildren, Jenna and Michael; two great-grandchildren, Luken and Cody; many nieces, nephews, and many dear friends.

Services: Calling hours will be held Wednesday, from 4 to 7 PM at the Connor-Healy Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 537 Union Street, Manchester, NH.Burial will take place in Hanover Cemetery, Hanover, MA.
