Funeral services for Thomas Edward Searcy, 78 of Crossett, AR will be held at 2PM Monday, August 20, 2018 in Chase Pentecostal Church with Rev. Billy Martin and Rev. James McMurray officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant Hale Cemetery near Baskin. Visitation will be Sunday from 5-8 PM at Gill First National Funeral Home in Winnsboro.
He was born to Ira Dale and Nobie Effie Lewis Searcy on November 21, 1939 in Baskin and passed from this life Friday, August 17, 2018 in Drew Memorial Hospital in Monticello, AR.
Mr. Searcy was preceded in death by his parents; son Mike Searcy and daughter Kaylynn Searcy English.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years Phyllis Kaye Searcy; daughter Cheryl Searcy, two sons Randy Searcy and wife Lee and Greg Searcy; 12 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his step children: Ann Richman, Felicia Jones and husband Steve, Melissa Nix and husband Mike, Heath Meeks and Michelle Meeks; 14 step-grandchildren, 15 step-great-grandchildren and one step-great-great-grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Cameron Butler, Isiah Butler, David English, Dylan English, Brent Gossett, Mike Nix, Shane Richman and Lee Searcy.
Honorary pallbearers will be Lincoln Adams, Evan Collins, Dawson English, Levi Gossett, Eli Guzman, Elijah Kleczka, John Thomas McDaniel, Easton Punchard, Jerry Thomas Searcy and Preston Searcy.
