MR. BRACKET WOODSUM died at the residence of his son-in-law, Mr. G. L. Case, on Thursday afternoon, shortly before 5 o'clock, at the age of 62 years. Mr. Woodsum was one of the oldest settlers in this portion of the country, having removed to Minnesota in the spring of 1857, and settled on the farm in Elmira township, long occupied as his home, and familiarly known as the Woodsum place, and at present owned by his son, Summer. Mr. Woodsum was well known throughout this section of the country as an intelligent, straightforward man and good neighbor, and one of the most successful, because one of the most thorough and industrious farmers in Olmsted County.
