Earl H. Burns, Jr., age 59, of Lenoir, passed away on Monday August 20, 2018, at Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care of Lenoir. Mr. Burns was born on December 7, 1958, in Burke County to the late Earl H. Burns, Sr. and Lucille Heavner Burns.
Mr. Burns was a truck driver for MDI and was a member of Rock Chapel Church of God in Granite Falls.
Survivors include his wife, Lou Ann Burns of the home, one son; Earl Steven Burns and wife Megan of Connelly Springs, one daughter; Lena Burns of the home, and one sister Brenda Alley and husband Ted of Lenoir.
Funeral Services will be held on, Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. at Greer-McElveen Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Reverend Casey Fenn, Reverend Ron Leasure and Dr. Dan Turner.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service at Blue Ridge Memorial Park Cemetery.
