Obituary of David Engle

David L. Engle, age 56 of Spring City, died on Tuesday evening in the Pottstown Memorial Medical Center.

David was born in Pottstown and son of the late Morris Engle and of Elizabeth J. (Evans) Engle wife of John Walters Sr.. David resided all of his life in Spring City. David was employed as a fabricator for PA Insert/ AC Miller.

David was an avid outdoorsman and specifically enjoyed fishing. He was a member of the Liberty Fire Company and also a member of the bowling league. He also enjoyed horseshoes and quoits. David will be dearly misses by his family and friends.

In addition to his parents he is survived by a son: David "Zeb" Engle of Spring City, Sisters: Terry Carey - Spring City and Amy Grady - Spring City. Brothers: James "Tyke" Engle of Birdsboro, John Walters Jr. of Pottstown, Clyde Walters-Pottstown, Guy Walters-Boyertown, and Carl Walters-Spring City. And Christian Walters-Pottstown. And also several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate life on Monday at 10am at the Shalkop Grace & Strunk Funeral Home, Bridge and Church Streets Spring City PA (135 Bridge St) Interment will follow in the Philadelphia Memorial Park, Frazer. His viewing will be held Sunday evening 6:30-8:30pm and Monday 9am010am at the funeral home. Memorial gifts may be made in his memory to the Royersford Area Community Chest 17 N. Fourth Ave. Royersford PA 19468
