Sherry Diane Inman, age 61, of Shelbyville, Indiana, formerly of New Point, passed away on Friday August 17, 2018. Sherry was born October 1, 1956 in Greensburg, Indiana to Thomas and Clara (Wilson) Peterson. She was a 1974 graduate of North Decatur High School. In 1984, she met her soulmate Denver Kevin Inman and she married him on March 22, 1992 in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. Sherry had previously worked at the Brau Haus, Jawacdah Farms and Sew Tec. She loved to sew, cook, garden, and clean. She enjoyed her pets and spending time with her grandchildren.
Sherry is survived by her husband, Denver Kevin Inman; daughter Carrie (Ryan) Owens; daughter Natasha (Rob) Dietrich; son Dustan (Sam Reed) Inman; and daughter Nicole (Chris) Baier; sisters Patricia Harpring, Christine (Richard) Shouse, Sandy (Victor) Dinsmore and Marcia McMillin; grandchildren Austen Owens, Zander Owens, Ashton Owens, Athena Mitchell, Anthony Mitchell, Azaria Dietrich, Savannah Dietrich, Malaki Powers, Ziva Dietrich, Alex Mitchell, Kaydan Marshall, Mackenzie Inman, Liz Reed, Eli Reed and Kayla Baier. Sherry was preceded in death by; mother Clara Peterson, father Thomas Peterson, father in law Kermit Inman, and mother in law Rosemary Inman.
A visitation for family and friends will be held at the Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home on Monday, August 20, 2018 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at 10:00 am at the New Point Christian Church, with Rev. Mark Vice officiating. Burial will follow at the Rossburg Cemetery in New Point, Indiana.
