"Word has been received by Mrs Mary Falkinburg of West Spruce street of the death on June 9, of J Nelson Falkinburg of New York City. Mr Falkinburg came to this city when a boy and graduated in the class of seventy-five , together with A Leo Weil and Ida M Tarbell. Soon after his graduation he went to New York city to live. For several years he was connected with the New York Herald and later became interested in the real estate business, which business he carried on most successfully until his death. Nelson Falkinburg possessed a most genial, generous disposition and was a devoted son, husband and father. He was twice married and leaves, besides his step mother, wife and daughter, four sons and two granddaughters. His funeral took place at his home at Richmond Hill, LI, and his burial at Flushing, LI."
