SANDRA “CISSY” LASSITER SPIVEY, 63, died Saturday, August 18, 2018 at her home surrounded by those who loved her. A native of Northampton County, she retired from Farm City Farm Supply Corporation where she worked as a Secretary for many years. Also, she was a member of First United Methodist Church in Roanoke Rapids. More importantly, she was a loving mother, grandmother and a good friend to many.
Sandra had been preceded in death by her husband, Christopher Robin Spivey, parents, Aaron Bryan and Marie Flythe Lassiter; sister, Ruby Johnson; and brother, Ronald “Gunny” Lassiter,
Survivors include her children, Laura Spivey (Trey) and Matt Spivey (Sarah); grandchildren, Haley, Kaylee, Zachary, Cameron, and Jayden; sisters, Rose Nall and Daphne Wade; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will be receiving friends at Bridgers Funeral Home, Inc. in Conway on Wednesday, August 22, 2018 from 6:30 to 8:30 P.M. and at other times at the home of Laura Spivey.
A Funeral Service for Sandra will be on Thursday, August 23, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. in Zion United Methodist Church with Pastor Joe Casteel presiding. Burial will follow in the Town of Conway Cemetery.
