Michael Wesley "Wes" Beavers, age 35 of Bastian, VA died Thursday, August 16, 2018 at the University of Virginia Hospital in Charlottesville, VA.
Born June 28, 1983 at Princeton, WV he was a son of Mike and Loretta Roberts Beavers of Bastian, VA. He was a Class of 2001 graduate of Tazewell High School where he was on the football and tennis teams.
Wesley graduated from Southwest Virginia Community College with an AS degree in Business Management and from King College with a BS in Business Administration. He enjoyed technology, landscaping, and gardening.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Tom and Freda Beavers; maternal grandparents, Kenes Pharoah and Tatsuko Roberts; aunt, Donna Beavers Glass.
In addition to his parents, Mike and Loretta Beavers, he is survived by his brothers, Mark Robert Beavers of the home and Eric Allen Beavers and close friend, Erin of Princeton, WV; aunts and uncles, Jerry and Marie Beavers of Dry Fork, VA, Jeff Glass of Bluefield, VA, Kenes Roberts and Sherry of Tazewell, VA, Wilbur Roberts and wife, Pam of Tazewell, VA, Margaret Kallander and husband, Joel of Fuquay Varina, NC, Matilda Collins and Robert Hayes of Clearfork in Tazewell, VA, and Eleanor Bailey of Statesville, NC; and numerous cousins.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at Peery & St. Clair Funeral Home in Tazewell, VA. In keeping with Wesley's wishes, there will be cremation and no other services.
