N. FT. MYERS, FL - Frances Louise Cook, 67, of N. Fort Myers, FL, entered heaven's gate while surrounded by her family on August 12, 2018 after a brief battle with cancer. She was born to Fred and Leola Walker on December 18, 1950 in Dixon, IL. She graduated from Forreston (IL) High School class of 1969. Fran's warm nature and infectious smile allowed her to leave a memorable impression on everyone she met.
Her life will be celebrated in the lives of her husband, Ron Cook; her siblings, Jim (LaVoy) Walker and Judi (Butch) DeVries; and her children, Francie (Rob) Brown, Bruce (Maia) Tidwell, Tracy (Nick) Friedrich, Mike Cook, Lisa (John) Morin, Mark Cook, and Teresa (Rusty) Wilkerson. She is survived by 15 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her brother, Bob Walker; and granddaughter, Marqui Cook.
