EDINBURG – Israel “Rod” Rodriguez, 85, went peacefully in his sleep Saturday, August 18, 2018, at Windsor Arbor View in Edinburg surrounded by his loving family.
Mr. Rodriguez was born in Edinburg and lived there most of his life. He was a veteran of the United States Army, a retired IRS Agent, and owner of Rod’s Tax Service.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Antonio and Josefina Rodriguez; and a brother, Arturo Rodriguez.
Mr. Rodriguez is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Irene Rodriguez of Edinburg; three children, Reynaldo (Wanda) Rodriguez of Mission, Kenneth Rodriguez, Belinda (Marc) Menchaca, both of Edinburg.
