Funeral services for Keith D. Stewart were held Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2018, at First Baptist Church of Geary with Rev. Mike Price officiating. Burial was in the Sunset Cemetery in Geary. Services were under the direction of Turner Funeral Home.
Mr. Stewart was born Nov. 18, 1949, to Harley Raymond Stewart and Julia Sunroad. He passed away Friday, Aug. 17, 2018, at his home in El Reno at the age of 68. Keith graduated from Geary High School in 1968. He owned and operated Locke and Stewart in Bethany, and later worked at Xerox.
Keith was united in marriage to Barbara Seigman on April 8, 1977, in Bethany. He worked as a correctional officer at the FCI Prison in El Reno for many years, retiring in 2005. Keith was a member of Calumet First Baptist Church and attended the First Baptist Church in Geary.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Raymond Stewart and Julia Sunroad; his mom and dad, Louis and Minta Payne; and sister, Eleanor Shipp.
Keith is survived by his wife, Barbara Stewart of the home; four children, Angela Williams and husband, Marcus of Bella Vista, Ark., Deanna Parker of McAlester, Brian Stewart and wife, Kelly of El Reno and Michael Stewart and wife, Katie of Clinton; 10 grandchildren, Jamie Bagwell, Brennan Williams, Tyler and Courtney Cook, Jennifer Parker, Karlee Myers, Konner and Ellis Stewart, Kyler Ringo-Kabunda and Ruby Stewart; two great-grandchildren, Case and Ashlynn; sister, Janice Tech of Calumet; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
