R S DERRICK RITES SATURDAY AT SHERIDAN
Funeral services will be held Saturday at Sheridan for Rufus Stanley Derrick, a former resident of the Jefferson-Albany area and father of Mrs. Addison W Lane of Salem.
Mr Derrick died Tuesday at McMinnville after an extended illness.
Born Feb 11, 1876 at Eddyville, Ore., he married Sarah Frances Wilson at Jefferson Aug. 20, 1898. She survives him.
He was a member of the Macabee Lodge at Albany.
In addition to the widow and Mrs. Lane, survivors include three other daughters, Mrs Glen C Downing, Central Point, Mrs Rudie Pedrante, Newberg, and Mrs Archie Frizee, McMinnville; two brothers, Herbert Derrick, Fallon, Nev., and George Derrick, Elsie, Ore.; a sister, Mrs Lenora D Bales, Salem, and four grandchildren.
Interment will be at Evergreen cemetery at McMinnville.
