CHESAPEAKE - Martha Warner Gilbert, 71, passed away in her home on Friday, August 17, 2018. Martha was born in Washington, NC to Ethel Mae Warner and the late Johnnie M. Warner, Sr. She was a Chesapeake school bus aide for handicapped children.
Martha is survived by her husband of 51 years, Jimmy Gilbert; son, Jimmy Gilbert, Jr. and Lynn Honeycutt-whom she loved as a daughter; mother, Ethel Mae Warner; brother, Johnnie M. Warner, Jr.; sister, Bertha Woolard and husband Phil; and many nieces and nephews.
Burial will be in Oakdale Cemetery, Washington, NC.
