Randall Edward Collins, entered rest on September 24, 2017 at the age of 69 years. He was born to Harold and Georgia Collins, on May 26, 1948 in Indiana.

He is survived by his children: Sarah Hodges, David Randall Collins and Jacob Edward Collins; 5 grandchildren.

Our Dad, Randall Collins was the best Dad in the world because he told his children the most important thing in the world, which is that Jesus Christ died 2000 years ago so that our sins will be forgiven when we stand before God one day.

He will lovingly be remembered as a gentle giant, at 6'5", who laughed like a child at silly jokes. He would open his mouth and wow you with that smooth baritone voice as he sung some old gospel hymn. He would open up his arms and hold you as you sobbed from feeling the Spirit move on your heart and open up his bible and show you verse by verse how God loved you, how he saved you, and how you could finally live free from guilt and sin.

Through all he went through as an Airman, honorably serving in the U.S. Air Force, a father and a radio disk jockey he always let things bring him closer to the Lord and now that he's with the Lord and his life has meant all that it could to so many, our hearts can beat with peace from the joy of knowing and loving him.

A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, September 29, 2017 at Resthaven Memorial Park.
