Mrs. Earl Mann
MILESBURG - Mrs. Edna P. Mann. 64, a Gold Star mother and life-long resident of this area, died Thursday, March 24, 1966 at the Lock Haven Hospital, where she has been a patient 19 days.
She was twice married, to Andrew Swires, who died in 1950, and to Earl Mann, who survived, with a son and daughter, Daniel Swires, Milesburg; and Mrs. Franklin Swarm, Bellefonte R.D. 3.
Mrs. Mann was born May 10, 1901 at Curtin, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel DeHaas. Two brothers also survive, Joseph DeHaas, Julian, and Miles, whose address is unknown. There are four grandchildren.
She was a member of the Milesburg Baptist Church and American Legion Auxiliary.
Burial was made in Zion Cemetery.

Mrs. Edna P. Mann, 64 Milesburg, died Thursday, March 24, 1966 at the Lock Haven Hospital.
Mrs. Mann was born in Curtin, May 10, 1901, a daughter of Daniel and Emma Houdeshell DeHaas. Her first husband, Andrew Swires, died in 1950. Her second husband, Earl Mann, survived. Her children were Daniel Swires, Milesburg, and Mrs. Franklin Swarm, Bellefonte. Four grandchildren and two brothers, Miles and John DeHaas also survived.
She was a member of the Milesburg Baptist church, the Gold Star Mothers and the Milesburg American Legion Auxiliary.
Funeral services were held at the Wetzler Memorial Chapel, Milesburg, with the Reverend Lowell D. Lee officiating.
Burial was in Zion Cemetery.
