Mother of Kathy Upchurch of Cape Girardeau, MO, Terri Amos(Steve) of Sumner, IA, Julie Scales of Slidell, Sherry Hale of Slidell and Angela Gagliano of Lafayette, LA.
Also survived by 10 grandchildren; Keith Upchurch, D.J. Trapp(Jessica),Rachel Upchurch, Matt Nickerson, Melissa Bergman(Scott), Samantha Scales(William Gaines), Kassie Upchurch, Jon Upchurch, Haley Gagliano and Jacob Gagliano, 9 great grandchildren, Danielle, Uriah, Gideon, Lydia,Bryce, Curtis, Kayden, Sawyer and Greysen.
Mrs. Hale is also preceded in death by her parents, Dewey Dickey and Leona Simmons Dickey, three brothers, Adrian Dickey, Walter Dickey, Abijah Sparks, a sister, Millie Cooper and her sons-in-law; Danny Upchurch and David Scales.
She was a native of Potosi, Mo and a resident of Slidell since 1979. She was a member of Grace Memorial Baptist Church, where she was a Sunday School Teacher and a member of its choir. She was a devoted wife and mother and will be deeply missed by her family.
The family would like to thank the entire staff of Passages Hospice and the entire staff of Park Provence for their compassionate and wonderful care they gave their mother.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Services at Rev. Bob Heustess, Officiating.
Interment will be in FOREST LAWN CEMETERY.
