AMORY - Freddie Kaye "Fred" Knight, 66, died April 24, 2007, at his residence. Services are today at 3 p.m. at Bethel Apostolic Church with Stanley Blaylock officiating. Burial will follow at Haughton Memorial Park in Amory. Visitation will continue today until 2:30 p.m. E.E. Pickle Funeral Home of Amory is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Knight was born Sept. 3, 1940, in Moorhead to the late Jimmy Howell Knight and Thelma Maurine Bush Knight. He attended school in Sunflower County and was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in Germany. He was a Baptist and was retired from the restaurant business. He is survived by his wife, Bobbie Glover Knight of Amory; sons, John Christopher Knight of Amory and Anthony Howell Knight of Tupelo; daughters, Jennifer Nell Knight Britt of Southaven and Courtney Leighann Noyes of Amory; brothers, Jim and Gene Knight, both of Tupelo, Bob and Johnny Knight, both of Amory, and Don Knight of Saltillo; and sister, Lynda Francis of Amory. Pallbearers are Mike, Jeff, Jason, Dennis, A.J. and Jamie Knight and Chris Pickle.
