Jean Gilbert of Southington died on Friday, Aug. 17, 2018, with his loving family by his side, at HOCC@ New Britain. He was the husband of Diane (Gendreau) Gilbert.

He was born Oct. 2, 1959 in Bristol, the son of the late Lucian and Bertha (Lachance) Gilbert. He had been employed by Economy Springs and was a parishioner of St. Thomas Church.
Besides his wife he is survived by his children, Tonia Lisatinski and Savanna Gilbert of Southington, 2 grandchildren, Landon and Everleigh Ciccotelli, his brothers, Renaud, Robert, Jack, Mickey, Marcel and Jamie and a sister Rose Lada.
He was predeceased by a brother Lou, a niece Shannon Gilbert and a nephew Jonah Gilbert.
The Funeral will be held Tuesday 9:15 from the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St. to St. Thomas Church at 10 a.m. for a Mass. Burial will be at St. Thomas Cemetery. Calling hours will be Monday 4-7 p.m. Donations may be made in his memory to the American Cancer Society, 30 Spreen St., Framingham, MA 01701
