Charlotte Jewell Lee, 80, passed away Tuesday morning, August 14, 2018 at her home. She was born in Indianapolis, Indiana, on December 9, 1937; the daughter of Robert and Sarah C. (White) Baker.
Raised in Indianapolis, she was a 1956 graduate of Ben Davis High School.
On August 27, 1955, she was married to Franklin Arvine “Frank” Lee in Indianapolis, Indiana. He passed away on September 5, 2010. They had shared fifty-five years together.
Survivors include her Five Children: Franky A. (Gary) Genier, Kelley R. (Paul) Kearney, Zarth A. Lee, Tierney C. (Mike) Newnum, Gunnar L. Lee, Ten Grandchildren, Eight Great Grandchildren, and Brother: Robert Baker of Indianapolis.
In addition to her parents and husband, Charlotte was preceded in death by a sister; Deloris Webster, three brothers; Jerry Baker, Max Baker, and Tom Baker, and a grandson; Lake Newnum.
Funeral Services are planned for 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 25, 2018, at Myers Mortuary, 1502 North Lebanon Street, in Lebanon, Indiana, with Pastor Nick Wilkes, officiating. Visitation will be on Saturday from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home in Lebanon. Interment will follow services at Lincoln Memory Gardens in Whitestown, Indiana.
