Larry was educated in the Lamar County School System, graduating with the Class of 1971. Upon completing his high school education, he attended Griffin Technical College where he received a degree in Automotive Technology. He was later employed by the JC Penney Distribution Center in Forest Park , GA for many years until he decided to become a entrepreneur and open his own local automotive shop.
On November 30, 2015, Larry departed his earthly life and transitioned to his eternal home with the Lord. He was preceded in death by one sister, Claudia Lovelace, and three brothers, Willie J. Lovelace, Jr. Steve Lovelace, and Eugene Harris.
Larry’s memory will be cherished in the hearts of his loving family which includes three sisters, Annie Harris and Cora Fambro of Barnesville,GA and Shelia Lovelace (Thomas) of Stockbridge, GA; three brothers, SPC5 Terence (Severa) Lovelace and SSGT Leonard Lovelace of Barnesville, GA and SSGRET Kenneth (Pamela) Lovelace of Hampton VA; two aunts, Nellie Jackson and Lucille Lovelace of Decatur, GA; one uncle George (Jean) Lamar of Decatur, GA; one sister-in-law, Betty Price-Harris of Griffin, GA; seven nieces, Devy Harris, Evette Lovelace, Shenikia Fambro , Erika Lovelace, Karen Green, Carolyn Lyons, and Renee Brooks; seven nephews, SSGRET Kenneth Smith, Pastor James (Angela) Smith, Jr. SFCRET Patrick (Angela) Merritt, Travis Richardson, Jurico Campbell, Eric Fambro, and Maurice Fambro; and a host of great-nieces, great –nephews, cousins, other family and friends who will miss him dearly
