Anita Mae Reeves age 44 of Somerset (formerly of Pine Knot, KY) passed away suddenly Thursday August 16th, 2018 at her home.
She was born December 6th 1973, in Kettering, OH to Harold and Lois (Stephens) Reeves.
Preceding her in death are her grand-parents, Noah and Artie Mae (Lay) Stephens, Cager and Nora (Paul) Reeves.
In addition to her parents she is survived by her son Alex Eugene McCartt (her pride and Joy), and her Fiance Matthew Yaden, a sister Gail Reeves of Pine Knot, KY, a brother and sister-in-law, Dale and Carla Reeves of Bowling Green, KY, a special nephew, Kyle, several special nieces, Angelica, Tarah, Natasha and Kaylee. Two great-nephews and two great-nieces and numerous family and friends.
Anita was a Pharmacy Tech at Lake Shore Pharmacy in Burnside. She always had a smile for everyone, she had a big heart and loved to help anyone in anyway she could. She loved music from an early age and enjoyed playing the piano. She loved baking and decorating cakes for family and friends, she loved playing board games, she was an avid Kentucky Wildcats basketball fan, she enjoyed family get-togethers, and especially enjoyed going to her son's high school band concerts and just spending time with her son.
Visitation will be held Monday August 20th, 2018 12:00 PM til 2:00 PM, in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM with Pastor Boyd Rowe officiating, with burial to follow at the Pine Knot Memorial Gardens in Pine Knot, KY.
