Charles was born in the small community of Moltke, Normanby Twp; in 1883 to parents Henry & Catherine Rahn. Birth Register #009624.

On April 25th, 1908, Charles married Alvina Ziegler in the town of Harriston, Minto Twp; Marriage Register #020518.

They had only one child born to them named Amelia "Millie" Katherine Rahn 1909-1922.

The death occurred at 111 Mill Street, Kitchener, on Monday, of Charles Rahn in his 59th year. The deceased, who was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Carl Rahn, was born March 17, 1883, in Normanby township. He was married April 25, 1908, to Alvina Ziegler. She predeceased him April 21, 1941. He attended St. Paul's Paul's Lutheran Church. He was also predeceased by one daughter, Millie, 13, who died in 1921 and by one brother, Englebert, who died in August, 1941.
