They had only one child born to them named Amelia "Millie" Katherine Rahn 1909-1922.

He attended St. Paul's Paul's Lutheran Church. He was also predeceased by one daughter, Millie, 13, who died in 1921 and by one brother, Englebert, who died in August, 1941.
