Died Wednesday morning, Dec. 7, 1994, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. He was 73, a native of Pike County, Miss., and a resident of Baton Rouge. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran and POW in World War II. Visiting at Welsh Funeral Home, 6700 Florida Blvd., 5 to 9 pm Thursday. Visiting at the funeral home chapel, 9 am until religious services at 11:30 am Friday, conducted by the Rev. David Toxey and the Rev. Dr. Kelly Fitzgerald. Interment in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Survived by a son, P. H. Price, Jr.; a daughter, Wanda P. Myrick; two sisters, Vonelle P. Jones and Lucille P. Parsons; a grandson, Jean-Paul Myrick; and a granddaughter, Hillary Ann Price, all of Baton Rouge. Preceded in death by wife, Irene Nevels; and a son, Jeffrey D. Price. Pallbearers will be nephews. He was a lifetime member and deacon of Grace Baptist Church and member of Baton Rouge Lodge No. 372, F&AM.
