Suggested edit: Donald Richard Ewing of Amarillo passed away June 24, 2021. He was born January 23, 1933 in Tulia, Texas to Elber and Jettie Ewing. He proudly served his country in the United States Coast Guard. He was married to the love of his life Pat Ewing for 40 wonderful years. He loved his family, the Lord, and his church family fiercely. He was a member of The Church at Quail Creek. He was a member of the Mason's for over 60 years and a Shriner as well. He worked at Montgomery Ward's Service Center and at Palo Duro Masonic Lodge. He was a jokester and always had a joke to tell to put a smile on your face. He will be deeply missed. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his honor to the local Alzheimer's Association.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife Pat Ewing; grandson Matthew Ewing and a sister Donna Guy.

Left to cherish his memory are his children: Larry Ewing and wife Becky; Gary Ewing; Terri Valdez and Paige Browning and husband Steve. Many loving grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
