Mrs. C. Winn, a resident of Chicago, who will be best remembered at Hillsboro as Anna Hettenhouse Fath, was critically injured in an auto accident which occurred in Chicago Tuesday, Nov. 30th. The full details of the accident have not yet been received at Hillsboro by the friends and relatives of the unfortunate woman.

Mrs. Winn was born and reared in Hillsboro, her father, the late Henry Hettenhouse having been a pioneer resident of Hillsboro. August Hettenhouse, a brother, and Miss Augusta Hettenhouse, a sister of Mrs. Winn, reside near Hillsboro.

We are advised that Mrs. Winn was out driving in an auto with her son, Ora Fath, who now lives in South Dakota, and who has a wife and two children, and that the accident occurred while she was with him.

When she was a young lady living at Hillsboro, Anna Hettenhouse was united in marriage with Amiel Fath, who was killed at Sorento while acting as policeman there. Amiel Fath was a son of Leonard Fath a prominent farmer and extensive land owner of East Fork township. He was a brother of Mrs. Denny Lannigan. After the tragic death of Fath, his widow moved to Hillsboro where she reared her only child, Ora Fath, who entered government land in Canada as a young man and who now lives in South Dakota. She married C. Winn, purchasing agent for a railroad company in Chicago, where she now resides.

Following the auto accident Mrs. Winn was taken to a Chicago hospital, where her injuries were treated. We have been unable to secure information in regard to the nature of her injuries.
